Swim Sessions

Plymouth Triathlon Club has 3 dedicated pool swim days, these are all at the Plymouth Life Centre

A Swim Coaching plan is followed by the coaches

Tuesday:

Because of the limited session time, you will be required to be on poolside at least 5 minutes before the start time so you can be in the water promptly and make the most of your 120 minutes.

Tuesday Swim Session:  19:30-21:30 – 4 Lanes 

The Life Centre, Plymouth, PL2 3DG. £6 per session. Please bring a drink,  kickboard, pull buoy, paddles and fins.  

Please note to attend this session you need to be able to swim 200m of Front Crawl face in the water and consistently breathing to the side

There is often a social meet up after this session at a local pub!

Friday:

Friday Swim Session.  £4  19.20pm for a 19.30 start at the Plymouth Life Centre to 20.30

– Please note to attend this session you need to be able to swim 100m of Front Crawl face in the water and consistently breathing to the side. A good beginner session for those starting out or wanting to improve their swimming.

Junior Swim Session £3: 19:30-20:30 

Please bring a drink,  kickboard, pull buoy and fins and be on poolside at around 19:20, ready to start at 19:30.

(During the main school holiday periods there are no Junior coached sessions)

Saturday:

Saturday Swim Session (must be able to swim 400m in under 9 mins in a 50m pool.)

Advanced* swim session in the 50m pool at The Life Centre coached by a PTC BTF coach. £4 per session

Please bring a drink,  kickboard, pull buoy, paddles and fins (snorkels allowed!) and be on poolside at around 7.20am for a 7.30 am start – 8.30am 

There is a sociable meet up for a coffee and breakfast post session, or you can get your runn gear on head across the car park to run Central Parkrun at 09.00!

*Although classed as advanced, this session is for those who like a distance swim in the 50m pool, don't be afraid to come and try it.
